Equipment are based on site and area permissions. Equipment can be partitioned by site. An ACU is stated as belonging to 1 site. By default, the system contains 1 site. Further licenses would need to be purchased to add more sites to the system.
An Id point / reader goes from one area to another area (from/to). This allows users to locate people's physical locations, run location reports and use area occupancy to monitor and limit people within an area.
This is a licensed feature and allows the end user to monitor, restrict numbers and reset occupancy within an area.
Site Plans allows the end user to upload a background image and place GARDiS objects i.e. doors, ACUs, inputs etc., in order to monitor and control. This feature is available with GARDiS Pro.

A lift consists of a reader and outputs. You will require an ACU to provide the reader functionality and outputs to enable the lift controls such as floor buttons. This feature is only available with a GARDiS ACU with GARDiS IO EXT modules attached to provide the outputs. This is a licensed feature within GARDiS.
Allows cameras to be imported into the GARDiS software and live view to be displayed to the end user. This is a licensed option within GARDiS.

An ANPR camera converts a car registration number to a wiegand number. The wiegand number is transmitted to the ACU for validation. This is a licensed options within GARDiS.
Organisations allows the partitioning of people within the GARDiS system. A person belongs to one organisation. The system has one organisation by default. Additional organisation licenses can be purchased.
Additional features include people import from file and enrolling biometrics.
A person can have multiple credentials assigned. Credentials include traditional card technologies, ANPR (Car registration), biometrics and BLE.
Allows connection to STid portal to allow automatic distribution of BLE credentials. This is a licensed option within the GARDiS system.
GARDiS allows for biometric devices to be added and templates to be automatically distributed.

This feature is part of GARDiS Pro. This feature allows the end user to design badges per organisation. Within a person you can print a badge.
Access Levels is used to determine where people are allowed to access within your physical access system. A schedule can be configured down to the reader level.
Office control allows a door to be unlocked by presenting the a valid credential twice to a reader within x amount of seconds. This value is configurable, the default is set to 10. The feature is useful for meeting rooms to allow free access through a door during a meeting. The door can then be set back to controlled access by presenting the credential twice to the reader.
The Fire Door Release feature allows the user to configure emergency doors to become unlocked in response to a relay activation received by the GARDiS software. This feature is available as a licensed option.
The Lockdown Door feature allows the user to configure doors to become locked in response to a relay activation received by the GARDiS software or from a user initiated action from the software. This feature is available as a licensed option.

It is also possible to automate the running of a report via the cause and effect feature and can also be configured to automatically email to an end user or send to printer.
